Pablo Mones, founder of Certified Translations Uruguay, is a renowned certified translator with extensive experience in the translation of official and specialized documents. He has worked on the translation of contracts, powers of attorney, and texts in fields as diverse as medicine, biology, engineering, the environment, and patents, consolidating a solid reputation in the sector.

His commitment to excellence is reflected in his leadership and active participation in the field of translation. He has chaired the College of Sworn Translators of Uruguay twice and serves on its academic committees. Between 2012 and 2021, he taught classes in the Bachelor's Program in Translation at the University of Montevideo; he currently teaches in the Bachelor's Program in Translation at the University of the Republic. He has also given numerous talks and conferences at CASAL institutions such as the College of Sworn Translators of Uruguay and the University of the Republic.

Certified by the American Translators Association (ATA) and with multiple publications and conference presentations, Mones combines rigorous training in translation with a solid foundation in science. With a degree in Biological Sciences and a former professor of genetics at the University of the Republic, he co-authored a study in genetics that won the National Grand Prize in Medicine.
